The Joe Gibbs Racing star failed to lead a lap and barely cracked the Top 10 after 200 laps of racing at the one-mile oval. Busch didn't clinch the championship since Carl Edwards led the most laps and won the race. However, he needs only to start the race next week at Homestead to clinch the Nationwide Series title.

    Impact:
After two seasons of battling with consistency issues, Busch's team may be in line for a shake up. We'll continue to watch this story closely going into the off-season.

  • 10.25.09

    Impact:
A late charge by the Joe Gibbs Racing star moved him into the Top 5 and that's where Busch finished after 500 laps. It was a great run for the struggling No. 18 team. Busch hasn't had much consistency this season, and maybe this finish will be something to build on as the season comes to a close.

This has been a difficult season for Busch and the No. 18 team, but it has held some success for the talented driver.
