  Dave Blaney finished third in the Dollar General 300 Nationwide Series race at Lowe's Motor Speedway on Friday night.

  Impact:
  In what has been a very uneventful season for Blaney, Friday night at LMS was a big performance. This was just the veteran driver's fourth start in the Nationwide Series this season. Blaney piloted the No. 87 Toyota to his first Top-5 finish in NASCAR competition since 2007. It was a great performance for team owner Joe Nemechek.
