McKee Foods, a family bakery best known for their Little Debbie brand, announced that they will once again sponsor Marcos Ambrose and the No. 47 JTG-Daugherty Racing Toyota Camry in 2010, jtgdaughertyracing.com reports.

    Impact:
Ambrose has had a break out season in 2009. The No. 47 team appears poised to finish in the Top 20 in the standings this season. Primary sponsor McKee Foods has decided they are getting the most bang for their advertising buck, so they will stay on with Ambrose in 2010. This is good news for this up-and-coming driver.

Marcos Ambrose will be a part of a short-track tussle as the 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series enters its final stages in the TUMS Fast Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway this weekend, marcosambrose.com.au reports.

    Impact:
The Aussie has one career start at Martinsville and it was a brilliant Top 15 effort this spring. The No. 47 team has been worthy of fantasy racing consideration almost every week, and this week at Martinsville is no exception.

  • 10.08.09

Marcos Ambrose has experienced a solid season and is planted firmly in the Top 20 in points (17th) entering Auto Club Speedway. Last week he recorded his 13th Top-15 finish by finishing 14th at Kansas Speedway, michaelwaltrip.com reports.

    Impact:
Ambrose has had just an incredible season in 2009. He's coming off a great Top-15 run at Kansas Speedway, and setting his sights on another Top 15 at Fontana this weekend. Ambrose finished 22nd at Auto Club Speedway in February of this year, and we expect much better results in Sunday's Pepsi 500.

  • 09.23.09

Considering that JTG Daugherty Racing driver Marcos Ambrose hasn't exactly set the woods on fire in his two previous Sprint Cup starts at Dover International Speedway, it's no wonder that he enters Sunday's AAA 400 with tempered expectations, scenedaily.com reports.

    Impact:
Ambrose has struggled in his two prior starts at the Monster Mile, but the last time he raced on a high-banked oval Ambrose posted a Top-5 finish a Bristol. Expectations and results should be very high for this Sunday's AAA 400. Ambrose should crack the Top 15 at DIS.

  • 09.10.09

Marcos Ambrose and the No. 47 JTG/Daugherty Racing team head to Richmond International Raceway this weekend and hope to continue their recent short track success in the Chevy Rock & Roll 400, marcosambrose.com reports.

    Impact:
This will be his second career start at the 3/4-mile oval in Richmond. Ambrose recently posted a brilliant Top 5 at Bristol, so expectations are pretty high for this Saturday night at RIR. He posted a respectable Top-15 finish earlier this season at Richmond and should perform even better than that this weekend.

  • 08.30.09

Marcos Ambrose finished second in the NAPA Auto Parts 200 Nationwide Series race at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on Sunday.

    Impact:
It was a heart-breaking runner-up finish for Ambrose at Montreal. He dominated the race by leading 60 of the 74 laps, but he made a mistake in the corner that allowed Carl Edwards to pass him on the last lap. For Ambrose it was his second Top-5 finish of the season in as many starts in the Nationwide Series.

Marcos Ambrose won the pole for the NAPA Auto Parts 200 Nationwide Series race at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on Saturday. He turned a fast lap of 80.934 mph.

    Impact:
Ambrose edged Carl Edwards to claim the pole position at Montreal. Since it was raining during qualifying, the teams used rain tires to qualify. It marked the first time a NASCAR race held qualifying on rain tires. Ambrose should make a strong bid for the win on Sunday afternoon.

JTG Daugherty Racing team owner Tad Geschickter has signed up another sponsor for the No. 47 team and driver Marcos Ambrose in 2010 - Lance Crackers, FOX Sports reports.

    Impact:
The brilliant driving of Ambrose is making the ability to sign sponsors easy for the No. 47 team. This is the second former Nationwide Series sponsor to join the team this season.
