  David Ragan was fastest in opening practice for the O'Reilly Challenge Nationwide Series race at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday. He turned a fast lap of 184.401 mph.

  Impact:
  Ragan beat out Kevin Harvick to top the first practice session at TMS on Friday. Ragan's No. 6 Ford team has been strong at times throughout this season, so he should challenge for a Top-5 finish in Saturday's O'Reilly Challenge.
