The Season is broken down into four (4) seven-week segments and one (1) eight-week segment (each a "Segment, collectively, the "Segments"). See paragraph 4 below to view the Segment Race Schedule. The Game begins February 1, 2008, 5:00 PM Eastern Time ("ET") and ends November 16, 2008, one (1) hour prior to the start of the last Race, as defined below (the "Game Period"). There are two ways to enter. For both methods of entry, participants click on the Game banner or button located at fantasy.nascar.com.

All On-Line entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) who is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. False or deceptive entries or acts will render the participant ineligible.
  3. HOW TO PLAY.
NASCAR.COM will conduct a Game encouraging participants to predict the top finishing drivers of the weekly Race. Participants will be placed in either public or private leagues. A public league consists of participants who elect to be placed in a league randomly determined by Game Administrator ("Public League"). Each Public League will be comprised of thirty-two (32) participants. A private league consists of participants who elect to be placed in a league determined by the participants ("Private League"). A Private League may be comprised of as many participants as the members of that League choose, but must still be comprised of thirty-two (32) teams. If a Private League has less than 32 teams, the Game Administrator will fill the rest of the league randomly to reach thirty-two (32) teams. Each Public League and Private League shall together be referred to hereafter as "League." Participants will select six (6) drivers to make up a team of their predicted top finishing drivers (the "Team") in that week's Race. Once the season starts, participants may trade one driver for another (each a "Transaction").

    Selecting Your Team
Each week throughout the Game, you will be required to choose a team of six drivers. You will use your $100,000,000 salary cap to spend in assembling your roster. Once you have selected your roster, your roster will then carry over from week to week if you don't change your lineup.

    Salary Cap
Your salary cap will be $100 million.

    Roster Moves
You can change your roster during the season by making trades. See section 6 below.

    Driver Values
Driver values are determined at the start of each segment and will not change during the segment. Values for each driver may change prior to a new segment and will be available to all participants the week prior to the first race in the segment.

  7. HOW TO WIN.
At the conclusion of the Season, the top three eligible participants with the highest cumulative score of all eligible participants playing the Game will be the winners of the Overall Season Prizes ("Overall Season Winners"). First Place will be awarded to the eligible participant who has the highest cumulative score ("First Place Overall Winner"). Second Place will be awarded to the eligible participant who has the second highest cumulative score ("Second Place Overall Winner"). Third Place will be awarded to the eligible participant who has third highest cumulative score ("Third Place Overall Winner"). If there is a tie for the Overall Season Prizes, the participant with the highest point total for his or her Team in the final segment will win. If there is still a tie, the participant who scored the most points from the most recent weekly Race will win. If there is still a tie, the participant who scores the most points from the second-most recent weekly Race will be the winner. This method will continue as far back as the first weekly Race of the Game, if necessary. If there is still a tie, the prize money for that position will be divided evenly among tied participants.

At the end of every Segment, the top ten (10) eligible participants with the highest score of all eligible participants playing the Game at the end of the Segment will be the winners of that Segment ("Segment Winners"). First Prize will be awarded to the eligible participant whose Team scores the highest for that Segment ("First Prize Segment Winner"). Second Prize will be awarded to the eligible participants whose Teams score 2nd-5th highest for that Segment ("Second Prize Segment Winners"). Third Prize will be awarded to the eligible participants whose Teams score 6th - 10th highest for that Segment ("Third Prize Segment Winners"). At the end of each Segment, all Segment Winners will be ranked in a leader board by points. If there is a tie for any Segment Winner position, the participant with the lowest salary cap in the last week of competition for his or her Team will win. If there is still a tie, each previous week in order will be used to determine a winner by the highest weekly score. This will continue all the way back to the first week of the segment. If there is still a tie, the prize money for that position will be divided evenly among tied participants. At the beginning of every segment, each League's segment score resets to zero.

At the end of each weekly Race, the top eligible participant (1) with the highest score from the weekly Race of all eligible participants playing the Game will be the winners for that week ("Weekly Winners"). First Prize will be awarded to the eligible participant whose Team scores the highest from that weekly Race ("First Prize Weekly Winner"). If there is a tie, the team with the lowest salary cap will be deemed the winner. If there is still a tie, the team with the highest cumulative points will be deemed to be the winner. The decisions of Game Administrator will be final and binding.

At the end of each segment, League and Division winners will be determined. The top team in each 32 team league with the highest cumulative points will be deemed the League First Place winner. If two or more teams have the same cumulative point totals, the team with the highest score in last race will be determined the winner. If a tie still exists, the remaining races, starting with the most recent, will be used until the tie is broken. The team with the best win-loss record in the four-team division will be deemed the First Place Division winner. If two teams have the same win/loss record at the end of the Segment, the team that won the direct teams match-up will finish with the higher division ranking. If more than two teams have the same win/loss record, then division rank will be determined first by the best match-up record of all tied teams. If the match-up record can't break the tie, we will then break the tie by cumulative Segment point totals (highest to lowest is associated to final division rank). If a tie remains in either case, each tied team will share the division rank. Each week every team will play another team within their league. The winner of these match-ups is determined by the highest weekly score. In the event of a tie, the team with the lowest salary cap will be deemed to be the winner. If there is still a tie, the team with the highest cumulative points will be deemed the winner. If there is still a tie, the highest weekly score for the previous period(s) will be used to break the tie. If there is still a tie or this is the first week of the segment, the time of the team registration will determine the winner.

The Three Overall Season Winners will be determined on or about November 18, 2008. The Segment Winners will be determined approximately two (2) days following the last Race of each Segment. The Weekly Winners will be determined on or about the Tuesday following each weekly Race.

Winners will be notified within thirty (30) days of determination of winners. Winners who used the online method will only be notified by Game Administrator online at the email address listed on each winner's entry form. Game Administrator will make three attempts to notify each online winner. Winners who used the mail-in method will only be notified by Game Administrator by telephone at the telephone numbers listed on each winner's entry form.

Sponsor and/or Game Administrator may prohibit any participant or potential participant from participating in the Game, if at the sole discretion of Sponsor and/or Game Administrator, such person shows a disregard for the Official Rules, or acts: (1) in an unsportsmanlike manner; (2) with an intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other participant, Sponsor and/or Game Administrator, or their agents or representatives; or (3) in any other disruptive manner.
