Impact:
Bowyer is running like a Top 10 driver in the closing races of 2009. His 16th Top-10 finish of the season at PIR on Sunday continues to build momentum for the team. Bowyer is a driver to watch closely next season, and he should regain Chase for the Cup form.
Clint Bowyer's strong performance in Sunday's Dickies 500 resulted in a seventh-place effort and the No. 33 team's 15th Top-10 finish of the 2009 season, clintbowyer.com reports.
Impact:
It was a very solid run for the No. 33 RCR team. Bowyer kept his Chevrolet Impala SS in the Top 10 for most of the 500-mile event. Sound pit strategy allowed Bowyer to turn the fuel mileage situation to his advantage and forge the Top 10 effort.
Clint Bowyer was fastest in opening practice for the Dickies 500 at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday. He turned a fast lap of 189.381 mph.
Impact:
The No. 33 Richard Childress Racing team has unloaded a fast car this weekend at Fort Worth. Bowyer topped Greg Biffle to turn the fastest laps of the first session. He should challenge for a Top-5 finish in Sunday's Dickies 500.
In seven NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Texas Motor Speedway, Clint Bowyer boasts two Top-5 and three Top-10 finishes. His best finish of fourth came when series raced at TMS last November, clintbowyer.com reports.
Impact:
The No. 33 team is bringing a good chassis to Fort Worth this weekend and Bowyer has the resume at the Texas oval to finish well this weekend. He could crack the Top 5 in Sunday's Dickies 500 just like he did in this event one year ago.
Clint Bowyer was fastest in Happy Hour practice for the AMP Energy Drink 500 at Talladega Superspeedway on Friday. He turned a fast lap of 193.154 mph.
Impact:
Bowyer bounced back from an accident in the first practice that sent his No. 33 Chevy to the garage for repairs. He responded by coming back out for final practice and turning the fastest laps of the session at Talladega. Bowyer has a good restrictor-plate racing history so he should challenge the Top 10 in Sunday's 500-mile race.
In seven NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Talladega Superspeedway, Clint Bowyer boasts one Top-5 and two Top-10 finishes. His best finish of fifth came in the October 2008 running of the 500-mile race, clintbowyer.com reports.
Impact:
The restrictor-plate tracks in general have been good to Bowyer, but this season has been spotty at best for the No. 33 RCR team. Bowyer's last visit to Talladega in the spring saw him get caught up in an early multi-car accident. However, Bowyer has the ability to finish in the Top 10 at this super speedway and he drove this week's primary car to a Top 5 in the Daytona 500.
Hard work, perseverance, and avoiding a late-race, multi-car incident paid off in the form of a ninth-place finish for Clint Bowyer and the No. 33 team in Sunday's race at Auto Club Speedway, clintbowyer.com reports.
Impact:
Bowyer held his Chevrolet in the Top 10 for most of the race. As the laps wound down, he was able to collect a hard-fought Top-10 finish. Bowyer will continue to be a valuable fantasy racing selection in the last six races of 2009.

Clint Bowyer was fastest in first practice for the Dover 200 Nationwide Series race at Dover International Speedway on Friday. He turned a fast lap of 153.270 mph.
Impact:
Bowyer piloted the No. 29 RCR Chevrolet to the top of the charts in opening practice at the Monster Mile. This team and driver have had their share of success at the one-mile oval, so a Top-5 finish on Saturday afternoon is quite possible.
Clint Bowyer was plagued with handling issues for most of Sunday afternoon's Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, but his Shane Wilson-led Cheerios/Hamburger Helper team's never-quit attitude afforded Bowyer a 10th-place finish after 300 laps at Loudon, clintbowyer.com reports.
Impact:
Bowyer has been steady and consistent in recent weeks. Top-10 finishes have become a habit with the RCR No. 33 team. Bowyer will carry the momentum of this good run to Dover this week, and likely challenge for another Top-10 finish at the Monster Mile.
Clint Bowyer and his Shane Wilson-led No. 33 team were able to lean on their Richard Childress Racing teammates to overcome handling woes in the opening half of the Chevy Rock & Roll 400, giving them what they needed to rally to a sixth-place finish Saturday night at Richmond International Raceway, clintbowyer.com reports.
Impact:
Bowyer rallied from some recent bad luck to post a brilliant Top-10 finish at Richmond. Although the No. 33 team is outside the Chase for the Cup, Bowyer holds some fairly significant fantasy racing value in these last 10 races.
In seven NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Clint Bowyer boasts four Top-10 finishes. His best finish at the 1.54-mile oval is sixth, where he has finished four times, clintbowyer.com reports.
Impact:
Six appears to be Bowyer's lucky number at Atlanta. That's a good numeber if you're looking for fantasy racing points. The No. 33 team is running the best of the Richard Childress Racing teams right now, and Bowyer is trying to make the Chase for the Cup field. He should challenge the Top 10 at Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend.
