  Kevin Harvick finished third in the Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday.

  Impact:
  Richard Childress Racing finished out the season with a lot of momentum. Harvick and the No. 29 team responded well to the crew chief shake up a few races ago. The veteran driver cracked the Top 5 on Sunday for his second Top-5 finish in the last three races of the season. Harvick is a driver to watch closely next year.

  Kevin Harvick won the Ford 200 Camping World Truck Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Friday night.

  Impact:
  It was a fitting end to the truck series season for owner/driver Harvick. He won his second straight race in the series finale at Homestead. His teammate Ron Hornaday Jr. also picked up the Camping World Truck Series championship trophy after 200 miles of racing at Homestead.

  Kevin Harvick finished second in the Able Body Labor 200 Nationwide Series race at Phoenix International Raceway on Saturday.

  Impact:
  It's been quite a weekend at Phoenix for veteran driver Harvick. He followed up his truck series win on Friday with a brilliant runner-up finish on Saturday in the Nationwide Series event. Harvick started up front and kept his No. 33 Chevy there the entire 200-lap race. It was his 14th Top 5 of the season and 11th career Top 5 at PIR.

  Kevin Harvick won the Lucas Oil 150 Camping World Truck Series race at Phoenix International Raceway on Friday night.

  Impact:
  Harvick dominated the night by leading 58 laps and holding off a late charge by Kyle Busch to capture the win at Phoenix. It was Harvick's fifth career victory in the truck series. The win capped a big night for Harvick as his other entry Ron Hornaday Jr. also clinched the Camping World Truck Series championship with a Top-5 finish.

  Kevin Harvick was fastest in opening practice for the Lucas Oil 150 Camping World Truck Series race at Phoenix International Raceway on Thursday. He turned a fast lap of 129.399 mph.

  Impact:
  Harvick will drive his own No. 4 Chevy truck this weekend at Phoenix. He topped first practice on Thursday be beating out teammate Ron Hornaday Jr. for the fastest laps of the session. Harvick loves to race at PIR and could challenge for the win there on Friday night.

  Kevin Harvick finished fifth in the Dickies 500 at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday.

  Impact:
  It was a great run for Harvick and his RCR No. 29 team, however it could have been much better. He was running second in the closing laps but ran out of gas coming to the finish line. As he coasted to the finish three cars passed him and relegated Harvick to the fifth-place finish. It was just Harvick's fourth Top 5 of the season.

  Kevin Harvick and the No. 29 Shell-Pennzoil Chevrolet team turned a Top-10 qualifying position into their seventh Top-10 finish of the season at Martinsville Speedway in Sunday's 500-lap race, kevinharvick.com reports.

  Impact:
  The No. 29 team continues to show some signs of life with Harvick's Top 10 at Martinsville. The Virginia short track has been a favorite of Harvick's in recent seasons, so this is a great sign going forward. He may hold some fantasy racing value in this week's race at Talladega, given how well Harvick has raced on restrictor-plate tracks throughout his career.

  Richard Childress Racing driver Jeff Burton acknowledged on Thursday that teammate Kevin Harvick is expected to leave the company when his contract runs out at the end of the 2010, scenedaily.com reports.

  Impact:
  Burton gave his opinion on Harvick's status with RCR, and it backs up the rumors that have been circulating the last several months. It appears that Harvick will serve the final year of his contract with Childress in 2010 and look to drive for someone else in 2011 and beyond. He will be a hot free-agent driver next season, and be the center of a lot of rumors and media attention as a result.

  Kevin Harvick and the No. 29 Shell-Pennzoil Chevrolet team turned a Top 10 qualifying position into a Top-10 finish at Auto Club Speedway in Sunday's 250-lap race on the two-mile oval in Southern California, kevinharvick.com reports.

  Impact:
  It was a great run for the RCR No. 29 team. Harvick held his Chevrolet Impala in sixth-place for most of the race. Good pit strategy and great racing allowed him to stay and finish in the Top 10. This effort will be a great boost for the team's morale heading down the stretch into the off-season.

  Kevin Harvick will pilot Chassis No. 288 from the Richard Childress Racing stable at Fontana this weekend. Built new this season, this car will be making its on-track debut in the Pepsi 500 at Auto Club Speedway, rcrracing.com reports.

  Impact:
  This will be Harvick's 15th career start at Fonatana. To this point he has only one Top 5 and four Top 10's at the two-mile California oval. Considering that the No. 29 team is bringing a new car and Harvick's struggles this season, we can't recommend a fantasy racing start for Harvick in the Pepsi 500.

  Kevin Harvick finished third in the Heluva! Good 200 Camping World Truck Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon.

  Impact:
  Harvick kept his No. 2 Chevrolet at the front of the pack for the entire afternoon at NHMS. Still, he wasn't able to battle with race winner Kyle Busch like he would have wanted. For a part-time driver in the truck series, Harvick sports a spotless record. This was his third Top-3 finish in as many starts this season.

  Kevin Harvick will return behind the wheel of the No. 2 Chevy Silverado at New Hampshire Motor Speedway this weekend for the Heluva! Good 200 truck series race at Loudon, kevinharvickinc.com reports.

  Impact:
  This will be Harvick's third start in the truck series this season. He already has one win and one runner-up finish in his two starts earlier this season. Harvick should challenge for the win on Saturday afternoon at New Hampshire.

  We're used to seeing Harvick run up front at Richmond, and the veteran driver delivered on Saturday night at RIR. The season has been a complete bust for the No. 29 team, but after the good finishes at both Atlanta and Richmond the team appears to be turning their luck around.

  Impact:
  He led twice for 25 laps but was unable to mount a challenge for the win against Carl Edwards. Harvick has always raced well at Richmond no matter which NASCAR series it has been. Hopefully this Top 5 will propel the veteran to a good finish in Saturday night's Sprint Cup Series event at RIR.

  Impact:
  Harvick had a remarkable weekend in Atlanta. After winning the Nationwide Series race on Saturday night, he climbed inside the No. 29 Chevrolet and collected the brilliant runner-up finish in Sunday night's Sprint Cup race. It was his best performance of the season and only his third Top-5 finish of the year.

  Kevin Harvick won the Degree V12 300 Nationwide Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday night.

  Impact:
  Harvick dominated the night at AMS by leading 131 of the 195 laps run and collecting the victory from the front row. It was his second win of the season and 34th career victory in the Nationwide Series.

  Kevin Harvick was fastest in Happy Hour practice for the Degree V12 300 Nationwide Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday. He turned a fast lap of 178.018 mph.

  Impact:
  Harvick piloted his No. 33 Chevrolet to the top of the speed charts in final practice at Atlanta. He edged Brian Vickers for the fastest laps of the session. Harvick should crack the Top 5 in Saturday night's Degree V12 300.

  Although it has been a miserable season for veteran driver Harvick and many rumors have circulated about him leaving Richard Childress Racing, he will return to the organization in 2010. Harvick will once again drive the No. 29 Chevrolet and hope to return to championship contending form like earlier in his career.
