    It was a solid run to conclude the season on for Allmendinger. The No. 44 team appears to be in good shape heading into next season, and Allmendinger could push even higher in the standings in 2010.

    A.J. Allmendinger piloted the team's Ford Fusion from 17th starting spot to finish a solid 10th in Sunday's Dickies 500 at Texas Motor Speedway, richardpettymotorsports.com reports.

    Impact:
    Allmendinger narrowly avoided an early race wreck involving Jimmie Johnson and Sam Hornish Jr. to forge a solid Top-10 finish at Texas. It was the team's fifth Top 10 of the season. Allmendinger leaves Fort Worth sitting 26th in the championship standings.

    A.J. Allmendinger makes his Ford Racing debut this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. The Richard Petty Motorsports driver will race the remaining three races of the 2009 season in a Ford Fusion, Richard Petty Motorsports reports.

    Impact:
    Allmendinger is up next in the Ford experiment for RPM. His teammate Elliott Sadler drove a Ford to a Top-10 finish at Talladega last weekend, so expectations should be high going to Fort Worth. Allmendinger will likley challenge for a Top-20 finish in Sunday's Dickies 500.

    A.J. Allmendinger was administered a breathalyzer prior to Friday's first Sprint Cup practice at Talladega Superspeedway. He has been placed on probation by NASCAR through the end of the season and, according to sources close to the situation, will be monitored closely by the governing body during that time, ESPN.com reports.

    Impact:
    The driver of the No. 44 RPM car has been placed on NASCAR probation due to his DWI arrest this week. Additionally Richard Petty Motorsports has fined Allmendinger $10,000 and placed him on probation within the organization. This is a unfortunate incident for Allmendinger, who has been having a pretty good season to this point.

    For the second time in a week a NASCAR driver is in trouble with the law. A.J. Allmendinger, driver of the No. 44 Richard Petty Motorsports Dodge, was arrested for drunk driving on Thursday morning, the News Observer reports.

    Impact:
    Allmendinger was pulled over around 1:30 a.m. in Mooresville, NC and he blew a .08, which is the legal limit in North Carolina. The court date has been set for December 18 for the RPM driver. No disciplinary action has been announced yet by either NACAR or the race team.

    A.J. Allmendinger will run the last three races of the Sprint Cup season in a Ford Fusion, a team source told FOX Sports.

    Impact:
    The Richard Petty Motorsports organization is in the process of potentially merging with Yates Racing for next season. In a strange move Allmendinger and teammate Elliott Sadler will run some of the remaining races in Fords while Kasey Kahne and Reed Sorenson will continue to field Dodge cars for the remainder of the season. It will be interesting to see how the manufacturer change might affect Allmendinger's performance.

    A.J. Allmendinger returns to Auto Club Speedway this weekend for the 500-mile NASCAR Sprint Cup race in Fontana. The Los Gatos, Calif. native has scored the 15th most points of any driver in the last three races, ajallmendinger.com reports.

    Impact:
    The No. 44 team is riding a wave of momentum into this weekend's Pepsi 500. Allmendinger has been a Top 20 driver in the past several weeks. He finished 14th in this event one year ago and could crack the Top 15 again this Sunday at Fontana.

    A.J. Allmendinger led the way for the four-team Richard Petty Motorsports organization at Dover on Sunday as he powered the No. 44 Dodge to a brilliant seventh-place finish in the AAA 400, richardpettymotorsports.com reports.

    Impact:
    It was an impressive run for the young RPM driver at Dover on Sunday. Allmendinger ran in and around the Top 10 for much of the 400-lap event. In the closing laps he was able to push well into the Top 10 and forge a rare Top-10 finish for this team. It was Allmendinger's fourth Top 10 of the 2009 season.

    A.J. Allmendinger drives the No. 44 Berlin City Auto Group Dodge this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The 27-year-old Californian comes to New England hoping for a better race than in June when another driver's accident collected Allmendinger, ajallmendinger.com reports.

    Impact:
    Allmendinger certainly has the ability and car to crack the Top 15 in Sunday's Sylvania 300. Bad luck took him out of June's race at Loudon. Unfinished business will be on Allmendinger's mind this Sunday.
